Exploring (Primary) Colours
March 19-23
This week, children explored the way colours, when mixed, can make other colours.
"I know how to make purple."
"I'm making green like the trees in the forest are."
"I want to add more yellow because I like lighter orange."
"Look at water(in brush washer)! It turned BLACK! We could make black by mixing all primary colours."

We ventured neighborhood for colour hunting and the children took photos of colours which they found.
Back at school, the children sorted the pictures into colours they found on the streets they found in the forest.
Now the children got sensitive eyes to colours. With those, we are going to journey deeply into our connection with colours.
